Publications

We produce various publications based on many aspects of genealogy and family history in our county. We have our main list, school registers, pamphlets and separately the Salem registers. Most recently we now have the parish registers for Foleshill St. Paul’s on CD-ROM.

Except for the Salem Registers all our publications can be obtained from the chairman, for address see the Committee page. Computer discs are available from the same source.

When submitting payments for these items please make cheques payable to the Warwickshire Family History Society and not to individual committee members.

Membership, Books, CDs and Research can now be paid by Credit/Debit Card/Paypal.

We issue a quarterly newsletter. This is distributed free to members. Non-members can purchase one for £2.95 plus large (A4) SAE plus 80p UK postage or 4 IRCs overseas.

Away members Bi-monthly Newsletter

For members who reside outside Warwickshire/West Midlands.

We understand that our many out of area members do not always know of what is going on in the area, what new records are available etc. With this in mind we are starting (initially for a trial 6 months) an 'Away members Bi-monthly Newsletter'. This will be in electronic format and will simply be updates on news etc from the Warwickshire area.

We tend to gather pictures, books and news locally and send to members by post, this way we could let you know what we have and you can then email and let us know is a particular item would be useful to you. Whilst we would not of course include articles as in the regular magazine, members may use the Help Wanted section should they wish to do so.

To obtain this you should register by sending an email to the chairman. Include your name and address and also your membership number (which must be current).

The first issue was published in July 2006.
